Setting up domains is an important element of networking and webhosting because it helps make identification and organization of resources and addresses online easier and more efficient. There are several methods available for one to make use of when creating domains.

This tutorial will give you step-by-step directions on how to setup and host additional domains in your account using Direct Admin:

1. Log in to Direct Admin as reseller.

2. Click the “Domain Setup” link found under the Your Account tool.

3. This will bring you to a new page where you will find the link to make a new domain.

4. Click the “Add Another Domain” link to start creating a new domain.

5. Here you will find a page where you can add new domain names to your hosting account. In the space after the “Domain” header, enter the name of the additional domain that you want to host.

6. Set the bandwidth of your new domain by un-checking the box for “Same as Main Account” option.

7. Enter your desired bandwidth on the space provided.

8. Set the disk space of your new domain by un-checking the box corresponding to the “Same as Main Account” option first.

9. Enter your desired disk space for the new domain in the space provided.

10. You can also choose whether to add SSI, CGL or PHP privileges to your new domain. Once you are finished setting your preferences, click the “Create” button found at the bottom right corner of the page.

11. Your new domain has now been successfully setup. Click the “Home” icon at the upper left portion of the page to go back to the Direct Admin main page.

12. Once you have created a new domain, you will have to choose which domain you want to manage every time you log in or click Home in Direct Admin. Click the name of the domain that you have just created.

13. This will redirect you to your main page in Direct Admin. The domain that you are managing will be shown in the lower right portion of the screen.

14. Click the Home icon on the upper part of the screen to go back to the main page where all of your domains are shown.

15. You now know how to setup and host additional domains in your account.
