In DirectAdmin, there are a lot of reasons where you can suspend a user’s account. You can suspend a user if the account is past due; the user is spamming or hosting content that is against your acceptable user policy or AUP.

1. Log in to your Reseller’s account in DirectAdmin.

2. Click the List Users link.

3. Scroll down to main user management screen where you can suspend users, unsuspend them, send messages and change their password.

4. To suspend a user, tick the select box across the user’s name.

5. Click the Suspend/Unsuspend button to suspend a user.

6. You can now see that a user is suspended. When a user’s account is suspended, their website becomes inaccessible for viewing and their email will also stop working.

7. Unsuspending a user is just as easy. To unsuspend a user, tick the select box across the user’s name.

8. Click the Suspend/Unsuspend button to unsuspend the user.
