Webmail gebruiken in Plesk

Webmail is a web application that lets you create an email address that is accessible via internet. Plesk has a webmail feature where you can integrate your different webmails into your Plesk account so that you can access them without the need of logging in to your email service provider.

To learn how to use the Webmail feature in Plesk, the instructions below will guide you:

1. Login to your Plesk account. The Plesk homepage is now shown.

2. To learn how to use the Webmail feature in Plesk, click the Mail icon under the Services category.

3. The Mail main page is now shown. Scroll down to see all the email accounts that listed within the hosting account.

4. To login to webmail for one of the emails within the account, scroll right.

5. Click the webmail icon for the email account.

6. On the next page shown, enter the email password.

7. Click Log in.

8. We have successfully logged in to the webmail program which the email account is under. Click on the Options icon. You will now see the several options for configuring the way the webmail displays for you, just feel free to alter or edit any of the options that are displayed on the page.

9. To go to the Address Book of the webmail account, click the Address Book link.

10. Horde Webmail comes with an address book which you can use to store commonly used email addresses. To add a new contact to the address book, click the New Contact link.

11. Click the Choose an address book drop-down box.

12. Select the address book option that you wish to use to store the new contact email address. You can now go ahead and add an email address to the address book.

13. Enter a Name on the Name box.

14. Enter an email address.

15. Enter an alias.

16. Enter any other optional and additional information for the contact like the Home Phone number. Scroll down to see the other options.

17. Click the Add button when you’re finished. The new contact has been successfully added.

18. To check out the contents of your mailbox, click the Mail link.

19. If you wish to send an email, click New Message.

20. Instead of manually typing in the email address, choose a contact from the address book by clicking the Address Book icon.

21. Select the contact from the list.

22. Click To>> icon.

23. Click OK when you’re finished.

24. No complete the rest of the email. Enter a Cc to receive a copy of the email.

25. Enter a Subject on the Subject box.

26. Enter the body of the email.

27. Scroll down to see other options.

28. Scroll down some more to see the Attachments section of the webmail. In the Attachments section, you can add attachments to your message.

29. Click Send Message when you’re done. The message was successfully sent and you can also see the email on your inbox since we made a copy for ourselves on the message.

30. To check out the sent-mail folder, click the sent-mail drop-down box. You will now be able to see the message that we have just sent.

31. Click the Folders link.

32. To create a new folder, click the Choose Action drop-down box.

33. Select Create Folder.

34. Enter the name of the new folder.

35. Click OK.

36. The new folder has been successfully created. To move a message into the new folder, click the Inbox link.

37. Select the message that you wish to move by ticking on the box next to the message.

38. Click the Messages to drop-down box.

39. Select the folder where you want the message to be moved into.

40. Click Move.

41. The message has been successfully moved to the new folder. To make if it is there, click the Inbox drop-down box.

42. Select the folder name where we moved the message to.

43. You will now be directed to the folder where we moved the message to.

44. To delete a message, select the message that you wish to delete.

45. Click Delete. We have successfully deleted the message.

46. When finished with Webmail, just click the logout icon.

47. This is the end of the demo. You now know how to use the Webmail feature in Plesk. You can use webmail for any email account that you created in your hosting account.
